CYSS and AISA contest jointly for DUSU polls

All India students Association (ASIA) and Chhatra yuva Sangharsh samiti (CYSS) will jointly contest for the posts of president, vice president and secretary, joint secretary respectively, said AAP’s leader Gopal Rai on wednesday.

The Delhi University students union (DUSU) elections will take place on september 12 this year.  Both AAP’S Students wing CYSS and left wing student outfit ASIA will contest in the elections.

Gopal Rai, AAP’S Delhi convener said that they will contest for bringing better change , educational and other facilities in DU.

Students are really fed up of ‘muscle power’ and ‘money power’ in DUSU elections. They will join hands to bring positivity in student politics.

AAP formed government in Delhi in Feb 2015, it’s student wing had fought elections but faced defeat as On other side BJP and Congress hit out AAP as students rejected the politics of Arvind Kejriwal led party.  Two years ago DUSU polls AAP’S CYSS got around 12,000 votes while ASIA got nearly 10,000 to 12,000 votes.
