Another melancholy incident with women in Delhi came in light. A 19 year old, Delhi university student was harassed by a men in a bus on route number 544. She jumped off the moving bus when she felt unsafe.

The torment was shared by the victims’ sister through a renowned social media app Twitter. She purported that her sister was molested in the last three months for at least seven times. The women added that these group of men harassed her and other women going to colleges on this route. One day she made one men get out of the bus but he came back next day.

The victim is studying in a South Delhi College and she told her sister that to avoid these inhuman people she often missed her classes because she didn’t wanted to go on that route. She jumped out of the bus as one of the men told her that he knows in which college she is studying, after this she felt browbeaten and to avoid him she jumped.

Following the tweets, DCP Vijay Kumar enquired for more details so any action accordingly could be taken. Senior cops said they had deployed officers in civil
dress on that route buses and case would be filed to catch the guilty ones.
