Recently, Delhi University released an online portal for submitting examination form as colleges are unable to provide the May/june semester details to the university due to covid-19 pandemic.
University is also discussing about conducting semester exams online but Delhi university teacher association is convincing officials to hold exams until situation came under control and everything resumes and then keep semester exams offline because of various reasons which you can see here.
Maybe university is observing the results of putting the examination form online, whether all students are able to submit the form through this system as this was the first time when university put the form online. If this step successfully executed and in case the country Lockdown extended after 3rd May, then there are very high chances of Online Semester examinations this year.
It will be the most challenging situation for the university to hold everything online and it will be very interesting to see how university uses Artificial Intelligence(AI) to conduct Semester exams online and control all ways of cheating.
