College societies make our college life enjoyable and more interesting. Colleges under Delhi University have lots of societies like Commerce society, economics society, dramatics society, music society, etc. Every society conduct auditions and interviews to select their team.
In this fast changing world, increasing globalization of economy is the trendy topic, where everyone have their eyes on. Due to which it become important for a person to know more about financial affairs and become a responsible stakeholder. Thereby Financial and Investment society come into play, they not only enhance the knowledge of individuals but also support their ideas.
DU also have a handful Financial and Investment societies. Some of them are shining diamond which enlighten their college with at most shine. The list of the societies that overcome their problem with a unique creative style are given below.

1. Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce
The Finance and Investment Cell, SGGSCC aims to provide a common platform for all finance-enthusiasts to learn through information sharing. It aims to provide them with opportunities to undertake research on specific areas of their interest and to keep the enthusiasm of Finance-lovers active throughout the year by organising different seminars, competitions and other events related to the subject.
2. PGDAV (Eve.) College
The society generally want the applicant to brainstorm and have new strategy which can make their company survive. The society have no issues with collaboration as they collaborate with other societies and provide them with the best support they can. One of the successful event which is organize with the collaboration is The Mock Stock Event – A game of Luck, Skill and Strategy.
3. Hansraj College
The cell aims to provide a stimulus to knowledge sharing by organizing interactive discussions, seminars, forums, competitions and other activities in the area of finance
To enlighten students about complex yet interesting fields of finance and investment and their respective practical applications
4. JDMC
Aamdani is the finance and investment cell with a blend of academics,practical knowledge,fun filled games,and offcourse money,aims to generate and nurture the financial and business acumen of the students.we believe in working hard and smart on comfortably exciting things.
5. College of Vocational Studies
FIC-CVS is a conjugation of academic and extra-curricular excellence. It is a society where elements of Finance and Investment come in tandem to enrich the knowledge and network base of the members so as to make them smart as a whip.
6. Hindu College
The Finance and Investment Cell at Hindu College aims to make the students of the College more involved in financial affairs with the purpose of developing them into more responsible stakeholders in an increasingly globalized economy. It helps provide practical knowledge to enhance entrepreneurial skills. The Forum maintains its own website http://www.fic-hindu.com with in-house expertise to publish and share the articles, analysis and research of members with a larger audience. The annual festival Enigma of the society is a set of unique events, combining the elements from Economics, Finance, Politics, Psychology, Quizzing, Logic, Analysis &Social science, that takes all on a roller roaster ride through variety of challenging rounds that test the ability to think, balance and act.A seminar on “Smart Investing” in collaboration with BombayStock Exchange and a GK Quiz in collaboration with the Swedish Embassy and National level one line case study Decrypt were organized by the cell in 2015.indu
7. Gargi College
It is a forum whereby intellectually stimulated students can share their thoughts, give opinions or may even ask questions on a particular topic. This is a platform where students are updated on current financial issues and are tested with respect to knowledge in the field of finance.
8. Sri Ram College of Commerce
The Finance and Investment Cell is a student-driven body initiated in 2009 with a vision to promote knowledge sharing among students on matters of finance, economics and geopolitics. Rigorous research sessions, monthly campaigns, newsletters and speaker sessions define the Cell and its members.
9. Kirori Mal College
The FIC of KMC is a student driven initiative to facilitate knowledge on matters of finance and provide a deeper insight into the fithe of financial sector.
10 SGND Khalsa College
The society have quite a different image which can also understand from their name which they given to society. As the name of the society emphasis that they are different way of thinking. The society believe in “Business is a game, played for fantastic stakes and you are in competition with experts.If you want to win, you have to learn to be the master of the game.” One of the events which have a huge success is THE STAKE CITY.
