Row over change in the Curriculum of SOL

Delhi University’s School of Open Learning ( SOL ) which has been facing shortage of classrooms and other things after they switched to semester mode.  They will be conducting the classes on Saturday.

They have been able to carry only 60% classes so far.  SOL offers correspondence courses .  Their has been a change in the curriculum .While under the annual mode, classes would have begun in October or November, the semester mode, adopted by the SOL this year, has pushed the timeline forward, he said. For the first time, the students of the SOL will be studying under the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS), 

Many students are unhappy with this and  are protesting against it because the date for exams has been announced in the November first week and students don’t have adequate material.
