The deadly Coronavirus has exposed the student community in Delhi University to administration’s draconian measures. Amidst all the ruckus created by the administration, elected representatives of ABVP has been silent, whereas NSUI elected representative and volunteers has been at the forefront of fighting against online classes, online examination and open book examinations etc.

ABVP’s silence on student issues has now been taken to Twitter by their own volunteers disowning the organisation. A graffiti was seen on the DUSU office saying ” not my union”. Proactive measures has certainly given NSUI an upper hand.
“Indian Politics has constantly ignored student community for ages, it’s through relentless struggles that the students attained their rights and expressed their power. Now ABVP has betrayed the students. Only the student organisations that stands for student rights and manages to bring concrete solutions to student concerns will be given value through their votes by the student community.”
Lokesh chugh, National secretary incharge media, NSUI
