Everyone is in the running for a seat in Delhi University and feels sad if they are unable to make it through the admission process . But according to a famous career counsellor Jitin Chawla , because of the mentality that has been setup among the society everyone runs behind Delhi University and according to him 50 % of DU Colleges are not worthy even pursuing a course.
Many bright students can’t grab a seat in DU colleges because of margin gap of 0.5 %

Ambedkar university , a Central University is one such university that offers courses in different and unique subjects that are not available everywhere . It also provides a good scope in Humanities , Global Studies , Early Childhood Managment and Entrepreneurship
Jawaharlal Nehru , a Central University offers five year integrated graduation programme in language courses which is followed by a Entrance Exam after Class 12 . Jamia Milia Islamia also offers variety of courses like law , mass media , engineering, etc.. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University known as IP offers different combination of BBA that are offered in very less colleges in India.
Private University like Amity University , which have campus in Noida , Gurugram . It offers a large number of courses in various fields they have experienced faculty and better infrastructure.
There are many other university like Manav Rachna university , Ansal University , Sharda University which offers variety of courses
