Ministry of Human resource and development (MHRD) recently organized a Webinar to discuss about upcoming Semester/Annual examinations and Online education system.
In a discussion, MHRD suugested to all Universities/colleges to promote all years without taking any examinations. Result should be prepared on these basis :
- 50% marks on the basis of Internal Examinations conducted by colleges individually.
- 50% marks on the basis of previous semester result
MHRD said if the situation does not appear to be normal in the coming days then this is the only solution left to maintain social distancing, safety and health of the college students.

yes. i prefer such statements. students shoul be promoted on the basis of the previous grade for the safety of society and fight against covid19
This is the best solution I can see in this pandemic. Incase of du; students come from different states , in my institute there are students from west Bengal, Madhya pradesh , Haryana, Uttar pradesh and Rajasthan. If exams were conducted these students have to migrate from their state to Delhi. It will do nothing but make the situation worse . Making internal assessment and previous semester result a base for the result of current year is a good solution . ‘Cause these Marks belong to no one but those students who have performed in internals and in previous semester.
