University of Delhi has recently released pending semester Nov/Dec 2019 results on their official website. DU results were released with a huge delay of almost 5 months. In the mid of February, University has started releasing results but because of COVID-19 Pandemic, they stopped in the middle which creates panic for both university and students.
University was in big pressure that time because of a lot of reasons. Firstly, university has declared 50% of the results that time and then they stopped for almost 2 months. Secondly, results were already delayed because of ongoing DUTA Strike and ongoing violence in New Delhi areas due to NRC & CAA.

Why the DU results were delayed?
In conversation with few teachers, they shared their experience while checking Semester examination. They said ” We have a lot of pressure from the university because of the ongoing strike and there were only few teachers who were checking the exams. Many teachers were not allowing other staff members to check the papers, this is the reason of delayed result”.
Why there is dip in DU Results?
They also shared ” We have heard from a lot of students that result was not as expected. Many students were marked absent or F. The only reason behind this is teachers have not checked papers properly.”
Our sources also shared that Examination staff who compile the results of all courses may be faulty in uploading and compiling the results. They believe that Examination department must have intentionally or non intentionally exchanged the grades of students with each other.
