New Delhi : According to recent notification, University of delhi is going ahead with the online open book examination (OBE) from 10th August till 31st August, 2020.
University Examination Dean, Vinay gupta also stated in the High Court on Tuesday that Results for the same will be released between 1st week of October to last week of October, 2020.
Now, this will be major concern for student’s who have planned a lot of things after there course completion. Many Student’s who have enrolled for Master’s or MBA programs in Indian Universities or Foreign Universities cannot join there classes because of delay in results.
In most of the countries, universities are giving time till 2nd week of September to all student’s to submit there final result otherwise there admission will be differed. Differing admission this year will waste 1 whole year for student’s which everyone should understand.
Many student’s who have job placement in hand will also suffer. Everyone of us know that companies start visiting colleges for placement when the semester begins and at this stage a lot of student’s already have job placement in hand but they cannot join because of delay in result’s. Now, many companies start revoking job offer’s because no one want’s to wait for so long. Companies will obviously give their chance to previous year batch.
Like this, there are numerous cases in which student’s will suffer if Delhi University or any other University of India conduct’s exam’s and release results in October.
The solution to this problem will be exam cancellation or providing pre provisional by all universities of India. These are the only two solution which can save the future and career of lakhs of student’s.
