Today, Delhi University released notification on their official website related to Year-end Semester examination & New Academic Calendar. The university advised students to visit the official website du.ac.in on daily basis and the information available only on the official website will be considered authentic and not to believe false information.
From past 3 days, a confusion is going on among various students and we are also receiving a lot of mails and messages on our instagram handle regarding the cancellation of Semester exams for 1st and 2nd years. So here we wanted to confirm everyone that this proposal was sent to vice chancellor by few professors but this was straight away rejected by the officials in their meeting. So, all students have to sit for exam and there is no scope for cancellation but yes the semester exams are postponed till further notice.
There are very high chances according to us that the Academic year 2019-20 will be postponed by one more month. Colleges can be reopened for pending Assignments, Tests, Internal work, Annual days, Farewells, Admit Card, etc (This may not be true, this was just an assumption) and Exams can be conducted from 1st June till 25th June.
