In continuation of the notification no. Acad.I/299/Academic Calendar/Revised/60 dated 01.06.2020 the Summer Vacation of the University has been extended w.e.f. 01.07.2020 till 31.07.2020.
The decision was taken after the Ministry of Home affairs released guidelines for Unlock 2.0 to be implemented from July 1. Many student’s have a lot of queries after the notification released whether this will affect final year open book examination or not.
So, the notification released is not for open book exams. The decision is for the officials of Delhi university along with the affiliated colleges. Teachers & professors are advised to work from home only till further notice. It is expected that colleges will reopen from August 1 with restrictions.
UGC was going to release official notification related to final year exams but as of now no notification has been uploaded on the official site. Many universities across the nation have put the final exams on hold.
