University Grant Commission(UGC) has released a guidelines for Universities and colleges on the issues of Semester/year end exams and change in Academic year.
UGC suggested universities to conduct semester exams in the month of July and start new academic year from 1st September instead of July. UGC also suggested to increase internal assessment to 30 Marks and decrease theory exam to 70 Marks. Time duration of exam to be reduced from 3hours o 2 hours.
Delhi University, after evaluating all possible circumstances and keeping worst case scenario’s, Officials can release a notification or press release in the next week. There are very high chances that Semester exams will be conducted in the month of July in offline mode. Results for which to be declared from 31st July, 2020.
