Delhi University has already released date sheet for Practical exams and University also mentioned in their earlier notification to colleges and departments to release Datesheet for end semester exams for all UG/PG/Certificate/Diploma courses by 27th May, 2020.
Since, the university is going forward with the Online Exams starting from 1st July for final year UG/PG students. Many student bodies, Delhi University teacher association (DUTA) and individual students along with college societies are showing there concern over it. Everyone knows Online exam is not a good idea and is not feasable because many students don’t have sufficient infrastructure.
These student bodies along with teachers are showing anger on this decision. They demand either to promote students with 10% increase in the marks or conduct offline semester exams like CBSE from 1st July.
In conversation with Rajesh Jha – Executive member, DUTA says ” As for now University is going forward with online semester exams but we are trying to force them to withdraw decision and bring them on the negotiation table”.
University of Delhi has already confirmed to opt for online exams as an alternative and Teachers were also asked to prepare question papers based on Online Book Examinations. Keeping the situation and support of all student bodies in mind University can still withdraw their decision and directly promote students.
