Important things to know about DU JAT 2018 for (BBE/BMS/BFIA)

Delhi University, though not the largest in the country, is amongst the top universities of India. In NIRF 2018, the university ranked at number 7. However, in the top colleges of the country, 5 out of top 10 colleges belonged to the varsity. Highly competitive, Delhi University continues to attract thousands of students from across the country and the world. Admissions to Delhi University usually start from June 1. This year too, the admissions are likely to start from the same date for undergraduate courses. For admissions to the undergraduate management courses like BBA, BBS, BA in Financial Analysis, etc., the admissions are done on the basis of the Joint Admission Test or DU JAT, as commonly called. Here are the important details for DU JAT 2018, the courses for which the test applies, eligibility, important dates and more.

Starting with the basics, DU JAT is the Delhi University Joint Admission Test. The examination is conducted for admissions to courses of Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) programs and BA (Hons.) Business Economics in the colleges offering the same. If you are aspiring for management courses, Delhi University offers an excellent starting point. Here is all the important information you need to know about DU JAT 2018. The notification for DU JAT 2018 examination is expected to release around June 16, 2018. Candidates interested would be required to register online on the official website of Delhi University. The notification for DU JAT 2018 has not been released yet. Tentative dates for DU JAT 2018 examinations are provided below.

  • Start of DU JAT 2018 Registrations – Mid June, 2018
  • End of DU JAT 2018 Online Applications – End of June 2018
  • Date of DU JAT 2018 Exam – To be released

DU JAT 2018 Eligibility

Candidates are required to have qualified or are appearing in the qualifying or Class 12th examination at the time of the application. Candidates who have appeared in the examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply. Also, candidates are required to have scored a minimum of 60% marks in 4 subjects which include English and Mathematics and 2 other subjects as approved by the University of Delhi. Candidates belonging to OBC category are also required to have scored a minimum of 60% in their qualifying exams. The minimum percentage for SC/ST and PwD candidates is 54%. (Please note, the eligibility criterion is subject to change. All are advised to wait for the release of the notification to check the final eligibility criteria for DU JAT 2018 and all the courses in the same.)
