DU might announce 6th cutoff list

Delhi University may announce a 6th cut-off list as many seats of the reserved category are still vacant. On Friday, a decent turnout showed because of the 2nd day of a 5th cut-off list for admissions.

For general category students, many colleges closed their admissions but few courses are still left in some top colleges.

Many aspirants also tried their luck for admission after withdrawing in other colleges.

Nitya Maland, a student said that in the 1st cut-off she got admission at Kamla Nehru College and she withdraws and in 3rd cut-off, she got admission in Dyal Singh College, then again she withdraws and now she got admission in SGTB Khalsa College in English(H). The reason for withdrawing colleges is just that her main goal is to get admission in North Campus College.

Many principals think that it will be a good move if DU may announce 6th cut-off list. Promila Kumar, Principal of Gargi college said that it will be better if 6th cut-off will come to allow aspirants to fill vacant seats.
