Delhi university offers around 56000 seats. After the first cut off was released on 18th June, over 11000 seats were filled. This was considered a record- breaking number as last year around 2000 seats were filled after 1st cut off was released.

Technical Glitch Leaves Students in Hassle

Delhi University announced it’s first cutoff list on Tuesday. After the announcement students started applying for colleges and alot of them faced difficulties in doing so. Students Protest Against High Cut-offs

Raising concerns over the sky touching cut-offs with several colleges having as high as 98 percent cut-off, a group of students who could not score 90+ percent in boards is protesting for drop in cut-offs.

The  rise in demand of science  courses in DU also led to rise in the cutoff of this courses . That is clear when you see the first cutoff of 2018. This  year, the highest cutoff is 98 per cent for BSc (Hons) in Physics in Hindu College for science courses.
