For Lavanya Jha, low vision could not be a obstacles, she come up as the 3rd all India Topper who scored 97.64% in class 12th CBSE board exams.
Breaking all records, the Humanities student scored 98 marks in psychology and political science each, frm Delhi Public School, RK Puram.
Although Lavanya Jha, who was differently abled person and has very low vision at birth and for reading books, she hold the book very close to her eyes. She was also not sure of becoming the 3rd all India topper, she was just sure to score above 90%.
Lavanya Jha said that she was very happy to know the result, and it was above her expectations and she want to opt psychology at Lady Shree Ram college which is affiliated with DU.
Even her teachers describe her as a ever-smiling girl and when someone asked her about the challenges she faced, she said that her eyes would tire after a while and strain her head as well. She also said that she made it a plan to study all year and only have to revise before exams.
Similarly, Anmol Aggarwal with a hearing disability also has scored 96.4% with a full 100 in mathematics. He is from Amity International School, Gurgaon.
Anmol said that he could not believe when he saw that he had scored full marks in mathematics as he had expected somewhere around 90. His parents are so excited and happy. He also said that In future, he want to pursue Maths (H).
There is one more unprivileged girl who secured 92% in the board exams . Her name is Anushka Mishra. She is from Noida. Her father works in a iron- manufacturing factory as a daily wage worker.
Anushka said that more than herself, it was a big day for her parents whose only wish was that she do well in studies and they are very happiest today and she is planning to apply in University of Delhi.
